The worst-case scenario for Romeo Okwara seems to be the case.
Lions coach Dan Campbell admitted after Sunday’s game that “it doesn’t look good at all” for Okwara.
In the first game of the season, Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah also suffered an Achilles tendon tear.
Okwara signed a three-year, $39 million contract in March after leading the Lions with 10 sacks last season. He was the team’s most consistent pass rusher, though he had just one sack in the season’s first three games.
